Mentor days

Our mentor days have been a fantastic opportunity for all year groups to get to know the school, their mentors and each other!

Year 5 explored the school building and took part in fun activities to get to know their classmates. They challenged themselves to line up in alphabetical order as quickly as possible and enjoyed a game of class bingo! 🎲

Year 6 took on the creative egg parachute challenge, working in small groups to design and build parachutes to protect an egg. The winning parachute from each class was then put to the ultimate test — released from the roof! 🥚🪂 Most of the eggs survived, much to everyone’s delight!

Year 7 played brännboll and took part in fun get-to-know-you activities, while Year 8 enjoyed a scavenger hunt. Year 9 made the most of the lovely weather, grilling sausages together in the schoolyard. 🌭☀️

Across the school, there has been plenty of teamwork, creativity, laughter and fun. What a great way to start the school year and build our school community!
