March 2025 Recap

March was a lively and engaging month at IES Järfälla, filled with exciting events and community spirit. We began with a successful Open House for prospective students and families. Our Year 5 students did an excellent job welcoming guests and sharing what life is like at our school.

Waffle Day fun with Year 5 students!

Early in the month, we held our digital Spring Term Student-Parent-Teacher development talks. These conversations gave everyone a chance to reflect on progress and set meaningful goals, with many students sharing their hopes for the future.

National Test season also got underway, and we’re proud to have completed Swedish tests for Years 6 and 9, as well as English for Year 6. These tests help us track student growth and guide their continued development.

We added some fun to the mix with a spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 18th. Students and staff wore green, and class 6B won a class fika for their enthusiastic participation. Later in the month, Våffeldagen brought the community together over delicious waffles, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere in the school café.

As we head toward Påsklov, we’re thankful to all our students, staff, and families for making March so memorable. We’re excited for what the rest of the term will bring!
