Class trip to Skantzö – a day full of community and adventure
Students in grades 7 and 8 recently went on a class trip to Skantzö. It was a fantastic day filled with fun activities, teamwork, and a strong sense of community.
The purpose of the day was to strengthen the cohesion among the students, create new shared memories, and give them the opportunity to try different activities outside of their everyday school routine. The weather was on our side, and the atmosphere was positive from start to finish.
Canoeing

During the canoeing activity, the students had to work together to steer the canoes and move across the water. The activity required communication, cooperation, and a bit of patience, while also giving them the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature.
Bumper Ball

One of the most popular activities of the day was Bumper Ball. With large inflatable balls around their bodies, the students ran, bumped into each other, and laughed together. The activity provided a lot of physical fun and many memorable moments.
Mini Golf

On the mini golf course, the students got to practice their concentration and patience. There were both friendly competitions and many laughs when the ball did not always go where they intended.
Team-building Exercises

Through various team-building exercises, the students practiced communication, problem-solving, and supporting one another. The exercises showed how important it is to work as a team to achieve common goals.
A Memorable Day
The class trip to Skantzö was a very successful day where the students had the opportunity to get to know each other better, strengthen their sense of community, and create lifelong memories. Through the activities, they developed teamwork skills, confidence, and team spirit.
We would like to thank all students and accompanying staff who contributed to a fantastic day filled with joy, community, and new experiences.
Thank you for a wonderful class trip – we are already looking forward to the next adventure!
