Annual IES Tournament at Kärrtorps IP – Record Year with 24 Schools

This week, our Year 6 students participated in the annual IES tournament at Kärrtorps IP – a much-appreciated tradition organised each year by Internationella Engelska Skolan Täby.

This year’s tournament was bigger than ever, with a record-breaking 24 participating schools from across the country, creating an amazing atmosphere filled with teamwork, excitement, and great sportsmanship.

Our teams performed very well throughout the day. The girls’ team reached the quarter-finals, where they were unfortunately knocked out after a dramatic penalty shootout. The boys’ team also showed great determination and reached the round of 16 after several strong performances.

We are very proud of all our students for their positive attitude, team spirit, and effort both on and off the pitch. A big thank you to IES Täby for organising another successful and memorable event!
