IES Huddinge Is Growing

Year 4 and 5 Launch in Autumn 2027

IES Huddinge is taking an exciting step forward and plans to expand the school by introducing Year 4 and Year 5 starting in the autumn term of 2027. By offering an earlier entry point, we open the door for more students to join our unique international learning environment from a younger age.

Beginning their journey with us earlier gives students more time to grow in a bilingual educational setting, build strong academic foundations, and develop the language skills needed for a global future. This expansion also creates greater opportunities to participate in our European school partnerships, where international exchanges and cultural collaboration enrich learning both inside and beyond the classroom.

As part of our international focus, students will also gain access to the Cambridge school programme, a pathway that opens doors to international studies after compulsory school. The programme provides valuable qualifications recognised worldwide, strengthening our students’ prospects in an increasingly globalised world.

With this initiative, IES Huddinge aims to offer even stronger conditions for every student to reach their full potential—academically and as global citizens. We look forward to welcoming our youngest learners to an inspiring, supportive, and internationally oriented start in Year 4 and Year 5 in 2027.
