Kockduellen with Year 9

Our school participates in the cooking competition Kockduellen. We have now selected the pair that will represent the school in the city-final!

Our school participates in Kockduellen, a cooking competition where middle/high schoolers get to reasearch, plan, and cook dishes to present to a jury. The dishes are then rated by a jury based on taste, presentation and consistency. Kockduellen takes place in four rounds:

- school competition

- city final

- qualification for the national final

- national final

Last week, we started the school competition to select the group that gets to represent the school in the city final. All of our year 9 students participated in the school competition and out of all groups, only 6 got a place to fight in the duel-off that took place yesterday.

In the duel-off, only one group could come out as the lucky winner. Thanks to their organised teamwork, savoury flavours and appetising presentation, Majken and Moltas warmed the heart of our jury with their gnocchi. They will thus represent IES Hässleholm in the city final!
