Year 9 Art Students Celebrate British Pop Culture with THE FACE Tribute

This term, the Grade 9 Art students at IES Hässelby Strand showcased their creativity through a vibrant project inspired by the iconic British fashion, music, and culture magazine THE FACE.

During a special vernissage held in the B-Building, students presented their own interpretations of the magazine’s bold visual style and cultural influence. The exhibition highlighted their skills in design, photography, and illustration, capturing the spirit of THE FACE while adding a fresh, modern twist.

The project was a fantastic celebration of creativity and a reflection of the students’ understanding of how art and media shape culture.
