Year 5 Victory at Tempelstafetten!

Our students in Years 4, 5, and 6 recently took to the tracks at Tempeludden for the annual Tempelstafetten relay. We are thrilled to announce that our Year 5 team brought home the trophy!

Tempelstafetten is a highlight of the spring season for middle school students in West Stockholm. Organized by Hässelby SK, this long-standing tradition brings together over 50 teams from local schools to compete in the beautiful surroundings of Riddersvik.

This year, IES was well-represented by enthusiastic runners from Years 4, 5, and 6. At Internationella Engelska Skolan Hässelby Strand, we encourage our students to challenge themselves and support one another, and this event was a perfect display of those values.

While all our participants showed incredible grit and sportsmanship, we are especially proud to announce that our Year 5 team took home the first-place trophy!

"It was wonderful to see the students cheering for each other and showing such a positive fighting spirit," said one of our attending staff members. We are incredibly proud of every student who participated and represented our school so well.
