Students Pi their teachers
After demonstrating incredible grit in last week's Pi Day math challenge, two IES students celebrated this week by choosing which teacher to pie in the face.
Last week, mathematics classes across the school took part in our annual Pi Day celebrations. This event is a fantastic way to encourage a passion for learning while challenging students to reach their full potential.
The competition required students to learn as many digits of Pi as possible, demonstrating the grit and perseverance we value at Internationella Engelska Skolan. Following the intense competition last week, the highly anticipated rewards took place this week.
We are proud to announce two winners who showed impressive dedication to the learning process. One student from Junior School and one from Senior School achieved top results. As a reward for their hard work, both winners were able to pick which mathematics teacher they wanted to pie in the face.
Grit in Action: Students showed a strong fighting spirit by memorising complex sequences last week.
Maths Support: IES continues to support high academic expectations through engaging classroom activities.
School Culture: We work hard to create a safe and stimulating environment where students flourish.
