Crowned Best School in Years 8–9 at Skol-DM Table Tennis
Our students achieved outstanding success at this year's Skol-DM in table tennis in Liljeholmshallen. Along with numerous individual medals, IES Hässelby Strand took home the trophy for Best School in Years 8–9!
The annual Skol-DM in table tennis for the Stockholm area is a major spring event held at Liljeholmshallen. The tournament is highly competitive, featuring separate divisions for both licensed club players and amateurs across different year groups.
Our students demonstrated incredible determination, focus, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, resulting in a historic medal haul for our school.
Senior School Triumph
Our older students put on a spectacular performance, earning us the title of Best School for Years 8–9. While the team got a bit carried away with excitement during the victory announcement, they immediately showed their true character by staying behind to help the venue staff clean up.

Junior School Success
Our younger competitors showed an equally strong fighting spirit. Year 5 and year 6 combined group took home the Trophy for their category!
