Year 8 Visit to Local Fire Station

At our school, we value hands-on learning experiences that take students beyond the classroom.

Our Year 8 students enjoyed an exciting and informative trip to the local fire station. During the visit, they learned important fire safety skills, including how to respond safely in an emergency and the correct methods for putting out different types of fires.

Firefighters also demonstrated their equipment, explained how they work as a team during real emergencies, and answered plenty of enthusiastic questions. The students especially enjoyed seeing the fire engines up close and trying out some of the protective gear.

It was a fantastic learning experience, and we are grateful to the fire station crew for welcoming our students and sharing their expertise.
