Years 4-8 Celebrate the Academic Year at End-of-Year Ceremony

The end-of-year ceremony at IES Hässelby Strand took place on 10th June, bringing together students, staff, and guardians to celebrate a year of dedication and progress. The event for Years 4-8 featured inspiring speeches, musical performances, and annual academic awards.

The ceremony provided a wonderful opportunity for our school community to reminisce about the milestones achieved during the past year, while building excitement for the upcoming school year. Guardians and guests heard inspiring speeches from teachers and the principal, who commended the students for their hard work and personal growth.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of student awards. Deserving individuals were recognised for their academic excellence and positive contributions to our safe and calm school environment, receiving special gifts in recognition of their efforts.

The ceremony also showcased the creative talents of our younger students:

Musical Preparation: Junior School music teacher Ms Namrood worked closely with students in Years 4-6 for two months leading up to the event.
Live Performances: Attendees enjoyed singing and exceptional piano playing from the student ensembles.

We would like to thank all the guardians who attended to support our students, and we wish our school community a wonderful, restful summer break.
