To encourage reading!

We already know that reading is important. But how does our school encourage reading? Let's see how the school library is doing to promote this!

On a few occasions during the school year, our school library organises book cafés for the different year groups. This time with a Christmas theme for year 4.

At the book café the librarian explains in more detail about some selected books, talks about different genres as well as offering some fika. After that, the students are able to go around and look at the books. They can write down their favourites on an order list that they can use on their next library visit. A pleasant moment that is appreciated by the students.
