Skolinspektionen survey

We are delighted to share the results of the 2025 Skolinspektionen survey regarding Internationella Engelska Skolan Gävle, which includes valuable feedback directly from our guardians.

With a strong estimated response rate of 57% from our grundskola parents, the survey provides a clear picture of parent perceptions. An index value from 0-10 is used, where a higher value indicates a more positive perception.

Parents at IES Gävle reported notably more positive perceptions than the average for all participating grundskola schools across several key areas. For instance, our parents rated Information from the school (7.0 vs 6.2) Stimulation (7.1 vs 6.7) Support (7.4 vs 6.8) Teacher Conduct (8.3 vs 7.9) Studiero (Calmness/Order in lessons) (6.1 vs 5.6) Trygghet (Safety) (7.7 vs 7.5), and Student Health (7.5 vs 6.8) higher than the national average. 

These results underscore the strong positive environment and relationships perceived by our parent community. Furthermore, parents noted positive developments since the 2023 survey in areas such as Support (+0.6) and Studiero (+0.5) Overall, when asked directly, parents reported a mean satisfaction level of 7.0 with their child's school, compared to the national mean of 6.7.

The results highlight areas where our school performs well, particularly in the eyes of the guardians who entrusted us with their children's education. This positive feedback reflects the dedication of our staff and the positive experience of our students.
