Festive finale

Another school year has come to an end, and for our Year 9’s, it means that their time here with us at IESG is now complete.

We enjoyed a festive and emotional graduation ceremony with all the Year 9 classes and all the staff, where all the students’ achievements and growth were celebrated. Awards were awarded, speeches were held, music was played, and songs were sung. After the Passing of the Knowledge ritual and the tossing of the caps in the air, each class ran out into the schoolyard to cheers of the staff and the waiting family and friends. After two years of pandemic restrictions, it was so wonderful to see everyone gathered and being able to celebrate together in the schoolyard, taking photos, expressing thanks, sharing memories, and making new ones. It is with great pride we send our Year 9’s on to gymnasiet, you will be missed and remembered, and we wish you all the best!
