IESE Earns Another Green Flag!

We would like to congratulate IESE’s Green Flag committee on earning the prestigious Green Flag Award for our school again this year. This is the seventh time the Green Flag has been awarded to IESE by Håll Sverige Rent. The respected green flag flies outside the school to show that students have been actively involved in environmentally-friendly projects throughout the school term.

These projects include recycling paper and plastic, making bird-feeders, planting bee and butterfly-friendly plants, and picking up rubbish in our local area.

The Green Flag committee, accompanied by Ms King, also visited The Baltic Sea Science Center at Skansen to learn more about the importance of the animals and plants in our local Baltic Sea. Another highlight of the year was a day-trip to The Butterfly House (Fjärilshuset) in Hagaparken to witness firsthand butterflies emerging from their cocoons!

Students and teachers are very proud of all the endeavors throughout the year to learn about, respect and protect our local environment.
