Chess Tryouts at IES Enskede

On Thursday, 24 September, we hosted our Chess Tryouts for students across the school. A total of 77 students took part on the day.

A special thank you to Jonas and Fredrik from Stockholm Chess Federation, who joined us to help organize and facilitate the tournaments. Each group played six rounds, giving our students the opportunity to put their chess skills to the test while helping us select our teams for Yes2Chess and Skollag-DM.

This year, we are excited to have 12 different chess teams competing across several tournaments. It promises to be a busy and exciting year, and we are looking forward to friendly competition with students from other IES schools during this year’s IES Championships.
