IES Among the Top Five Schools in Borås

IES Borås ranks among the top five as the municipality's primary schools are rated by parents, according to P4 Sjuhärad.

In a news article published by Sveriges Radio, all compulsory schools in the Municipality of Borås are ranked according to satisfaction levels. The ratings are based on guardians’ responses to a 2025 survey conducted by the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket).

Only three schools rank higher than Internationella Engelska Skolan Borås, which shares fourth place with a score of 7.7 out of 10 in terms of how satisfied guardians feel with their children’s school.

“We are very pleased that the families that have their children at our school are satisfied. We work hard to ensure that our students have the best possible learning environment and prioritize regular communication with families, which we believe is viewed positively,” says Maritza Molin, Principal of IES Borås.

The lowest-ranked school in the municipality received a score of 4.4, while the highest score in the ranking was 8.5 out of 10.
