Great results from Schools Inspectorate's quality review of IES Borås

We are delighted to share the results of the Swedish Schools Inspectorate’s quality review of Internationella Engelska Skolan in Borås, which took place on November 19, 2024.

The purpose of this review was to examine whether our teaching provides students with the opportunity to develop both their language and subject knowledge in both Swedish and English in subjects other than languages. During the visit, information was gathered through:

- Four lesson observations
- A group interview with students
- A group interview with teachers
- An interview with the principal
- Documentation from the school’s governing body and available statistics

We are very proud to announce that the Swedish Schools Inspectorate has assessed our school as an excellent provider of bilingual education. They have not identified any areas for development within the assessment area, confirming that our school offers education of the highest quality.

This fantastic result is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our school staff in creating a stimulating and high-quality learning environment for all our students. We would like to extend a big thank you to our teachers, students, and the entire school community for their efforts and commitment.
