We Are Welcoming an Additional Year 6 Class
The decision has been made: In the autumn of 2026, IES Borås will have an additional Year 6 class.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Borås is a Year 4-9 school.
For the school year 2026/2027, IES Borås will expand Year 6 with a third parallel class.
The school, which already has three parallel classes in several other year groups, has chosen to make this expansion in Year 6 to meet the wish from guardians who did not feel ready for their child to change schools as early as Year 4.
Admissions for next autumn are now open and guardians are welcome to place their child in the queue. Since we do not usually admit this many students into this specific year group, the chances of being offered a place in Year 6 are good – even for families who are new to our queue.
