Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge is expanding its range of subjects within the Cambridge IGCSE, which is the world’s most popular qualification for 14- to 16-year-olds. There's significant interest in the practical and creative subject, IGCSE Music.
Successful pilot project opens the door for more students
In the spring of 2024, the first student at IES Huddinge took the IGCSE Music exam, marking a successful pilot project. The plan is now to give more students the same opportunity.
The school already offers IGCSE English as a Second Language, an exam that 20–25 students take each spring. IGCSE Mathematics and IGCSE Combined Science are also offered to students at IES Huddinge.
We want every child to succeed
By offering the Cambridge Programme, IES Huddinge gives its students a unique chance to elevate their knowledge. The Programme, which is taught in English with quality-assured teaching materials, is based on the latest research in multilingualism. IES believes that all students have the potential to succeed, regardless of their background, and that Cambridge is a way to give every student the opportunity to reach their full potential.
