IES Umeå students wins E-kampen!
Congratulations to the students Fanny, Mette, Lilli and Emma in class 9B at IES Umeå who came up with the winning idea “Barn räddar barn”. They arranged a sledding competition for children and sold handmade bracelets for the benefit of Barncancerfonden.
E-kampen is arranged by Kungl. Ingenjörsvetenskapsakademien (IVA) together with STARTcentrum and is a chance for year 7-9 students to gain an understanding of what it's like to be an entrepreneur and to explore creative business ideas.
– The students have been so committed and worked hard during this project. It's been so much fun to see their drive. They have really developed their abilities when it comes to ideas, business models and marketing, says Lena Edblom, teacher at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Umeå.
