IES welcomes the initiative for a mobile-free school
Today, the government presented a new initiative to make Swedish schools mobile-free. Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) has had mobile-free schools for many years and therefore welcomes this initiative.
"It's something we've practiced since the mobile phone came into school. A safe and secure school is of course about laws and rules, but above all about expectations and leadership. Politicians cannot legislate on leadership, but they can create the conditions for it and then the work is done by us in the schools. Therefore, we welcome the initiative for stricter legislation," says Linda Öholm, Head of Public Affairs.
