Sports Day at IES Kista

Students take part in the school's annual sports day

Ice skating, football and badminton were some of the activities students participated in for the school's sports day. 

It was a bit chilly but enjoyable for the students. Year 9s spent the day playing badminton at Sundbyberg Rackethall, while year 4s went to Husby Ishall to do ice skating.

Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 took part in football tournaments indoors and outdoors at Spånga IP. There were also garden games and other fun activities available for those students who didn’t want to play football. 

Mr Elmarghichi, Head of the PE department, said: “The sports day was a success, the older students got to compete in badminton and football, where they also got to play against teachers. The younger students tried ice skating and some for the first time! Overall a very fun day for the students to travel outside school and try different activities“
